Comme nous relations ici la semaine dernière, Eddie C. Campbell a été victime d’une attaque cardiaque alors qu’il se produisait en Allemagne. Voici quelques nouvelles transmises ce week-end par son épouse (et manager), Barbara Mayson Campbell : « Il n’est plus en soins intensifs et dans un état stable. Mais il est désormais paralysé du côté droit. » Barbara précise en outre que son mari ne bénéficie pas de couverture médicale en Allemagne, et que pour pleinement récupérer et bénéficier des soins adéquats, il doit faire l’objet d’un rapatriement sanitaire dont le coût sera très élevé. « As many of you know, Eddie suffered a heart attack and stroke while on tour in Germany. He is out of intensive care and stabilized. However, he is at present paralyzed on his right side. We need your help. Time is of the essence; Eddie's prognosis for a full recovery is dependent upon him receiving the appropriate medical attention including neuro/physical therapy. Eddie has no medical coverage in Germany, and, due to his condition, he may only be able to fly commercially with a medical escort or, ideally, in an air ambulance.
